The exact right thing to say

I saw this interview between Ellen Degeneres and her wife, the gorgeous Portia de Rossi, this morning and had to post it.  I didn't post it for all the talk about eating disorders, weight issues, self-esteem issues.  The part that stuck with me was at the very end.  I think Ellen does something that everyone wishes for in a partner, a friend, family member - she says the exact right thing at the exact right moment.  I hope that one day I get the rare opportunity to say the exact right thing to my boyfriend, friend, brother, mom, or whoever it may be exactly when they need to hear it.
