So, I decided to get on board with fantasy football this year. I started out slow, only joining one league, but one league is all it takes to bring out the competition. Now, instead of enjoying football Sunday as usual, I spend half the day checking my fantasy team's stats and obsessing over what went right or wrong!
Weeks 1 and 2 went real nicely for me and lured me into a sense of comfort. Going 2-0 right off the bat can make you very cocky way too early in the season. Then, quicker than you can say "Chris Johnson", you're in the meat of week 3 with your team going up in flames! The worst part is, I have a really good team. If I would've just left everything alone, I'd be smoking my competition again this week. But NOOOOO, I had to go and drop Dallas's Defense for Tampa Bay's D. Guess who only got 3 points this week and guess who got 13? And I thought I'd get real smart and start McCoy over Charles this week at Running Back. Awesome idea. If I had done it last week! Now I have to count on my QB and Kicker to make up a 20+ point differential. Luckily, my QB and kicker come from the best team in America, the Green Bay Packers.
With that said, Sundays have evolved from a day of beer, chips and a nice seat on the couch to a day of player tracking and worrying or gloating (depending on how my team is doing at any given moment). And you know what? I think might like it.

Stuck in fantasy football madness...and I can't find my way out!
Besides all the whining and inevitable mid-game uncertainty, this is fun!
